Discovering the Natural Regional Park of the Causses du Quercy
In addition to the GR65 (road to Compostella) and the GR36, you'll discover numerous paths for hiking or just taking a walk, or even going biking. You'll appreciate our landscapes of woods, fields, truffle plantations and our local heritage of dry stone walls, cazelles (dry stone hut), crosses, and numerous dolmens and wash-houses... all of that in a very preserved natural landscape.
We supply maps to go on walk from our place and around Limogne, as well as a selection of detailed itineraries across all the Regional Park.
Discovering the night sky
The Regional Park of the Causses du Quercy is in the heart of a triangular zone, classed as the "best sky in merteopolitan France" : the "black triangle" of the Querçy.
To preserve this exceptionnal nightime heritage, many towns of the park took the initiative to turn off their public lightning after a certain hour of the night and/or by installing more performant street lamps. Other towns have ratified a convention for the protection of the environment and of the night sky.
